SEPTEMBER 22, 2018

Members of the Hero's Heart Foundation and our Ambassador, David Desjardins, an Invictus Games Alumnus, will lead Veterans, Serving Military and Civilians on a fundraising walk from Orleans to Rockcliffe Park Pavilion via the Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway/ River Pathway.  There are two options for joining us: Be brave and walk the whole 23 Kms, or join us on the Parkway for a leisurely stroll.

This fundraising Trek is open to everyone, and we are encouraging those interested to raise pledges from their families and friends. You can join by walking, rollerblading, biking, wheeling, baby strolling or any other fun way you wish to participate. Pets on leashes are welcome too!

DRAFT Schedule:

  • 7:00 am - Meet in Orleans (Orleans Royal Canadian Legion Branch 632)

  • 7:30 am - Depart Orleans

  • 9:30 am - Meet up with Parkway Only walkers at Greens's Creek Parking Lot  (P26)

  • 10:00 am - Depart P26 on Final Leg to Rockcliffe Park Pavilion

  • 1:00 pm - Expected arrival at final destination - Rockcliffe Park Pavilion (P1)

** Currently, participants are responsible for their return to their parked vehicles (or being picked up at Pavilion), however, if we get enough interest, we will look into getting a shuttle bus.

More details coming shortly as they are finalized such as official start and finish times, locations, parking, etc. This is a Rain Or Shine Event!

All funds raised from the O2K will be equally divided between these charities.

In the meantime, you can start by getting yourself and your fellow walkers signed-up (on-line form below) and give your supporters this page for their on-line donations or by getting them to fill out your pledge form.
